Born in Gainesville, Florida, Michele was constantly moving both internationally and within the USA due to her father's Navy career. She maintains that her love of acting originated from all the re-inventing of herself she got to do every three years!
Michele has always been very athletic as well, swimming competitively for ten years and receiving the MVP award her senior year of high school with her varsity swim team. Eschewing the usual career path of most actors, Michele earned her Bachelor of Science degree in Neurobiology, Physiology and Behavior from the University of California, Davis. Besides academia, Michele became an avid snowboarder and active in Hapkido, a street-style martial art that blends Aikido and Tae Kwon Do.
After moving across country yet again to Boston to do behavioral research at Harvard Medical School, Michele started taking the Chinatown bus from Boston to NYC (about four and a half hours each way) two or three times a week for auditions and training at HB Studios. After performing in a few student and independent films, as well as a feature length film, Michele started missing what she considers her home state of California. A few friends in film school were moving to Los Angeles for the remainder of their schooling, so Michele made the drive back to sunny California, booking three films in the first month she was there. She's since earned her SAG card, done her requisite awesomely grisly horror movie and continues to work and learn in Los Angeles, and loves every minute of it!
